DappTokenCreator User Guide

Learn how to create your own cryptocurrency token in minutes

Introduction

Welcome to DappTokenCreator! This platform allows you to create your own cryptocurrency token on the Ethereum or Base blockchain networks without any coding knowledge.

With just a few simple steps, you can deploy a fully functional ERC-20 token that you can use for your project, community, or business.
Please note: We do not offer services to create liquidity for your token. However, we will provide helpful links and resources to guide you through that process if you choose to do it yourself.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, you'll need:

  • A Web3 wallet like MetaMask installed in your browser
  • Some ETH in your wallet for transaction fees (gas)
  • Either ETH or DAPPUSE tokens to pay the creation fee
Important: Make sure you're connected to the correct network (Ethereum or Base) in your wallet before proceeding.

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

1 Click the "Connect Wallet" button in the top right corner of the screen.

Connect Wallet Button

2 Select your wallet provider (e.g., MetaMask) from the popup.

3 Choose the account you want to use and approve the connection.

Note: The wallet you connect will be the owner of the token you create. Make sure it's the correct wallet address.

Step 2: Select Network

1 Choose whether you want to deploy your token on Ethereum or Base network.

Network Selection

2 Click "Continue" to proceed to the next step.

Tip: Base network typically has lower transaction fees than Ethereum mainnet.

Step 3: Enter Token Details

Fill in all the required information about your token:

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to create a token?

The creation fee is equivalent to 100 DAPPUSE tokens or about 0.0004 ETH (varies with market price). You'll also need to pay gas fees for the blockchain transaction.

Can I change my token's name or supply after deployment?

No, these properties are immutable once the token is deployed. Only the token image can be updated after deployment.

What's the difference between Ethereum and Base networks?

Ethereum is the main network with higher security but higher fees. Base is a Layer 2 network with lower fees but slightly less decentralization.

Do I need to verify my token contract?

Verification is recommended as it makes your token more transparent and trustworthy to potential users and exchanges.

How do I get DAPPUSE tokens?

DAPPUSE tokens can be purchased on supported exchanges or you can pay the equivalent fee in ETH instead.
